i'm a single from china and i work for the atlantic china vantage is a french fund and rentec china it is found we dedicated it to china's market so we do the venture investment in telecom media technology and everything innovated by the technology well i think the of course there is an impact bad and good now the best thing is you know you have before you do

not have the enough information right now you might have too much information so what to believe what to trust that's a question but however you have the good impact on the people's expectation as well for example like the chinese government allowed the internet to be a very useful and efficient channel to supervise the execution of the government officers so for the very common people so they feel

very free and to communicate with the government maybe just one way they express their ideas and they can be the reporter of the uh you know daily life or the unfair things and all the on proper things through the internet and the government officer and the traditional medias and collected information and try to help them to express and from you know like the business side we can

say it is a revolution for the economics as as well before chinese only have the opportunity to work for the state-owned enterprises and right now more and more internet help them to understand outside of china and learn you know the other lifestyle and help the outside of china understand china for example like our fund to get into china to help the enterprises the private enterprises of course

so it gives the very common chinese many opportunities to choose what kind of life you want to live you might want to be the journalist or to be the you know like a web broadcaster by yourself or you can you know found i personally as angel invest in a company called the uuc uusce it is kind of a youtube company and the you know they offered the

opportunity to um the youngest to be the entrepreneur and they can have the market support uh naturally because of their uh the good work and the effort so it is the the expectation for you know the lifestyle you want it's very bright and you know like very internationalized right now and a lot of people talk about china so the first thing is i really hope they come

to china before they you know like i have an opinion you

Xavier Faltot

////// Xavier Faltot is a multimedia producer based in Berlin. For more than twenty years he has moved through radio, image and the web as a media mutant: he started out alongside artist Shu Lea Cheang, founded the Parisian web radio Radiomarais and spent some fifteen years running cultural venues such as la Station and le Consulat, blending art, technology, cinema and poetry. A pioneer of creative uses of the web, he now builds images, voices and custom instruments with artificial intelligence, such as TEXT OPERATOR and La Carte des fuites, designed to write Maison Fluid, his treatise on fluid parenting, out on 25 July 2027.
